MY LOVE FOR NATURAL HEALING BEGAN FROM MY LOVE OF NATURE AND HELPING PEOPLE.

I always knew I wanted to give more joy to peoples lives and help people feel good and happy.

During some emotional rough times during college, I began to feel sick mentally and physically. My stress actually caused physical pain, hormone imbalances, crazy break outs, and extreme fatigue. I sought out traditional western medicine and found they did not have much to offer me. I decided to take matters in my own hands and started learning and reading up on natural solutions that could possibly help me….and it did! I learned about the mind-body connection and that what we think can manifest in our body physically so I began learning how to meditate and how to better control how my emotions affected me. i also found how herbs can be a huge supportive factor on bringing balance internally. When I found acupuncture I was amazed at the results too, and I believe all these pieces are what helped my body and mind heal.

I believe we all have the power to heal naturally when we give our body the right tools and environment and my goal is to help others live a more fulfilling life with the power of holistic medicine keeping you alive, strong and vibrant.

HOW I GOT INTO THE WORLD OF ACUPUNCTURE WHICH CONTINUES TO SURPRISE ME EACH DAY WITH ITS WONDERS.

I never really saw myself as an acupuncturist, I had no idea what it even was until…

I was studying in college finishing up my Associates Degree to either go for Ophthalmology or RN nursing; one of the two because I knew I wanted to be in the medical field as science and medicine always intrigued me most. How the body works on a cellular level was always such an interesting subject for me. Life never really quite goes as expected as most of you know, and I had to take a break to from school because I was between a move to pursue happiness and fulfillment and helping taking care of my sick grandmother. We tried everything and I mean everything. We wanted to figure out how to get my grandmother back in perfect shape and we really didn’t know how bad things were since my grandmother had dementia as well. My older sister called up an acupuncturist as the medications she was on weren’t effective and seeing these immensely positive results made me open my eyes to what seemed a lot like magic and now being an acupuncturist seems a lot more like a great medical tool not being used enough in the medical field. I found my passion through my sister and my grandmother. Although my grandmother passed not long after but with much improved symptomatology of ischemic colitis and other complications she opened my eyes towards a new view of health.

Here I am an acupuncturist, I love what I do and I’d love to pass along knowledge about Traditional Chinese Medicine an almost 3,000 year old medicine. I want to help you get to a happier, healthier you through acupuncture, herbs, cupping and other modalities that help with circulation, memory, pain, anxiety, stress and pretty much maintaining that good ole’ homeostasis.
